Each piece has been polished into an irregular multi-faceted shape while retaining areas of natural texture, internal fractures and contrasting mineral inclusions. The many angled surfaces catch the light beautifully and give every specimen its own bold, sculptural character.
Almandine is a naturally dark variety of garnet, often appearing almost black in ordinary lighting before revealing warm crimson, rust-red and glowing cherry tones around its edges and clearer sections.
