This substantial specimen is covered in overlapping layers of pale blush, soft peach and creamy-pink calcite crystals. Rounded fan-like formations rise across the surface, creating a beautifully textured landscape with countless reflective faces that sparkle as the piece catches the light.

The reverse reveals the natural earthy matrix, together with pale crystalline sections and scattered dark mineral inclusions. Each angle offers something different, from delicate layered crystal formations to larger statement clusters with a soft pearly appearance.

Mangano Calcite is a manganese-bearing variety of calcite known for its gentle pink, peach and cream colouring. Specimens of this material may also display a bright pink response beneath suitable ultraviolet light, although fluorescence can naturally vary.

This is a completely natural mineral specimen and includes irregular edges, contact areas, mineral deposits, natural fractures and variations in crystal size and formation. Small loose crystals may occasionally occur, so the piece should be handled and moved carefully.
