A wonderfully unusual dark agate tower featuring polished earthy patterning and a generous natural druzy crystal formation.
The smooth faces display smoky black, deep brown, grey and warm ochre tones, with mottled mineral markings running throughout the stone. Along one side, the tower opens into a rugged raw formation covered with sparkling white and pale grey crystals, creating a dramatic contrast between polished and natural textures.
This piece appears to be dark agate or chalcedony with druzy quartz. Similar material is sometimes sold as Sphalerite Druzy Agate, although the exact identity of the darker and honey-toned minerals cannot be confirmed from appearance alone.
Agate is traditionally associated with grounding, balance and stability, while druzy quartz is often linked with clarity and uplifting energy.
