A lovely natural pale Honey Calcite crystal specimen, weighing approximately 31g.

This piece displays calcite's distinctive rhombohedral cleavage, with overlapping angular crystal faces and stepped formations visible throughout the specimen.

Predominantly translucent to semi-transparent, it has a subtle pale honey to champagne-yellow colour, with areas appearing almost colourless depending on the light. The numerous natural cleavage surfaces give it an attractive glassy to pearly lustre when turned under illumination.

An interesting little geological specimen that clearly demonstrates the characteristic crystal structure and cleavage of calcite.
