A Swiss two francs coin dated 1974, featuring the traditional standing Helvetia design and an intricate floral wreath.
The obverse depicts Helvetia, the female personification of Switzerland, standing with a spear beside a shield bearing the Swiss cross. A circle of 22 stars surrounds the figure, with “HELVETIA” beneath.
The reverse displays the denomination “2 Fr.” above the date 1974, framed by a decorative wreath of oak leaves and alpine rose foliage tied with a ribbon below. Beaded borders finish both sides.
Made from copper-nickel, this coin carries the classic design also seen on earlier silver Swiss two-franc pieces. An interesting addition to a Swiss, European or world coin collection, or a collection centred on a particular birth year.

You will receive the exact coin pictured.
Pricing: Please disregard my earlier £25 suggestion—it was based on the wrong date and metal. A replacement price needs checking against 1974 examples.
