A beautifully polished Brown Banded Calcite freeform featuring flowing layers of creamy ivory, warm caramel and rich chocolate-brown.
The front displays a dramatic circular formation surrounded by sweeping natural bands, while the narrower sides reveal fine parallel layers running through the stone. Its curved flame-like shape showcases the patterning beautifully and allows it to stand securely for display.
Banded Calcite forms gradually in layers, creating the distinctive stripes, curves and variations seen throughout each unique specimen. This material may also be sold within the crystal trade as Chocolate Calcite or Brown Onyx Calcite.
Natural cleavage lines, internal fractures, mineral inclusions and minor surface variations may be present as part of the stone’s formation.
