Captain Beaky – Volumes I and II
A charming double album of animal characters, humorous verse and musical storytelling, bringing together both Captain Beaky volumes in an illustrated gatefold sleeve.
With lyrics by Jeremy Lloyd and music and arrangements by Jim Parker, the recordings feature a wonderfully recognisable cast including Keith Michell, Peter Sellers, Harry Secombe, Twiggy, Petula Clark, Penelope Keith, Noel Edmonds and The King’s Singers.
From Captain Beaky and Wilfred the Weasel to Harold the Frog and Desmond the Duck, this is a nostalgic addition to a vintage record collection, particularly for anyone who remembers these characterful stories from childhood.
