Following the loss of the use of Cyril Smith’s left hand, the duo continued performing using specially created arrangements for two pianos and three hands. This distinctive 1966 recording contains a lively selection of familiar classical favourites by Brahms, Grieg, Borodin, Mendelssohn, Bizet, Poulenc, Grainger, Stravinsky and other composers.
Released by His Master’s Voice in the UK with catalogue number CLP 3563. The record has the classic black HMV label with red lettering and comes in its attractive front-laminated picture sleeve featuring Cyril Smith, Phyllis Sellick and a dog in a garden setting.
