An unusual natural mineral specimen featuring striking deep pink to raspberry-red Erythrite crystals, commonly known as Cobalt Bloom, distributed across a contrasting dark rocky matrix.
The specimen has numerous sparkling crystalline pockets and seams, with the vivid metallic-looking crimson and magenta tones standing out beautifully against the grey-brown host rock. A contrasting area of white crystalline material is also present along one edge.
Erythrite is a distinctive cobalt-bearing mineral prized by collectors for its intense pink, crimson and purple-red colouring. This little 32g piece has a surprising amount going on, with different crystal-rich areas visible as it is turned.
