A striking natural Ferruginous Quartz crystal cluster formed over a rich orange-red chalcedony matrix, weighing approximately 88g.
The upper surface is covered with sparkling clear-to-white quartz crystals, with natural iron oxide staining creating warm peach, orange and rusty-red tones throughout. The underlying silica-rich matrix displays deeper orange-red colouring with a smooth, slightly translucent appearance reminiscent of carnelian.
Different sides reveal quite different textures, from densely sparkling crystal growth to exposed areas of the colourful chalcedony matrix, making this a particularly interesting display specimen.
