A vintage collection of romantic Viennese music composed and conducted by Franz Lehár, performed by the Tonhalle Orchestra of Zurich.
The album includes orchestral selections from several of Lehár’s best-known operettas, including The Merry Widow, The Count of Luxembourg and Gipsy Love, alongside the elegant Gold and Silver Waltz and music from Eva.
Originally recorded in mono and electronically reprocessed by Decca to produce a stereo effect when played on compatible equipment. This is the 1969 UK Decca Eclipse pressing with the distinctive red and silver record labels.

The vinyl displays visible light surface marks and signs of previous use. The laminated sleeve has age-related edge and corner wear, light surface marks and some discolouration to the reverse. Includes a period Decca stereo inner sleeve, which has some age spotting and discolouration.
