Vintage Maltese Art Glass Blue Summer Paperweight Mdina Style Chip #26
A substantial vintage Maltese-style studio art glass paperweight featuring swirling blue, turquoise, green and sandy yellow colouring.
The domed spherical form contains numerous tiny bubbles and sweeping bands of colour, creating a beautiful ocean-like appearance when viewed from different angles.
The colouring and construction are extremely reminiscent of the Blue Summer pattern associated with Mdina Glass, also traditionally known by collectors as Sea & Sand.
This example appears to be unsigned, so it is being sold as Mdina style / Maltese art glass rather than definitively attributed to Mdina.
