An unusual decorative art glass paperweight featuring a wonderfully chaotic abstract multicoloured design suspended within clear glass.
Swirls, bursts and flecks of creamy white, yellow, vivid red and dark contrasting tones spread throughout the piece, creating an almost painterly effect that changes dramatically depending on the viewing angle. Subtle touches of green can also be seen towards the lower section.
Scattered throughout the glass are numerous small bubbles alongside several larger rounded bubble inclusions, adding another layer of depth to the already intricate internal design.
Rather than a precise floral or patterned arrangement, this piece has a much freer abstract appearance, making every side look slightly different.
