A striking decorative art glass paperweight featuring a wonderfully intricate yellow and pale green spiral thread design encased within clear glass.
Fine strands of vibrant yellow and soft green glass sweep around the tall egg-shaped form, crossing and overlapping as they spiral from the base towards the top. The curved clear glass magnifies the threads from different angles, creating an almost cage-like effect with considerably more depth than first appears.
Suspended towards the centre is a small tightly wound clear and coloured spiral detail, adding another fascinating focal point amongst the surrounding threads.
The combination of fresh yellow and green gives this piece a particularly bright, almost citrusy appearance. 🍋🌿
