A wonderfully intricate decorative art glass paperweight featuring a dramatic white cascading fountain-like design, suspended bubbles and rich purple and pink detailing.
Fine strands of white glass sweep outwards and cascade down through the centre, ending in numerous delicate droplet-like forms. Amongst them are multiple rounded clear and silvery-looking bubble inclusions of different sizes, creating remarkable depth as the piece is turned.
The white decoration rises above a textured pink-toned band, while the base is finished with a striking pool of deep violet-purple glass. A larger clear bubble forms a focal point towards the upper centre of the design.
The tall egg-shaped form magnifies the internal details beautifully, with the appearance changing considerably depending on the viewing angle.
