A substantial natural Green and Purple Fluorite mineral specimen, weighing approximately 190g.
This unusual piece displays attractive areas of translucent green, blue-green and deep purple fluorite, with contrasting pale crystalline material and natural matrix throughout.
The fluorite shows prominent natural cleavage and colour zoning, with different faces revealing dramatically different patterns. One broad face provides a particularly interesting view through the interlocking green and purple mineral sections, while the narrower edges reveal brighter translucent areas and contrasting white crystalline growth.
Natural iron staining is also present in places, adding further character to the specimen.
