This substantial piece is crafted from heavy, high-quality clear crystal with intricate moulded plumage that catches and reflects the light beautifully. The dynamic pose and impressive wingspan make it a striking display piece for any home, as well as an excellent addition to a collection of vintage art glass or crystal animal sculptures.
The design is strongly reminiscent of pieces produced by Cristal d'Arques, although this example is unsigned and therefore is being sold as Cristal d'Arques style rather than attributed with certainty.
