A striking Larvikite sphere featuring a glossy black base, bold silver-grey feldspar formations and flashes of electric blue.
Large pale mineral sections contrast beautifully against the dark polished stone, while smaller reflective areas reveal vivid blue labradorescence as the sphere is turned beneath direct light. Fine silvery flecks and crystalline markings add further depth throughout.
Larvikite is a dark igneous rock containing feldspar crystals that can display a distinctive blue or silver reflective effect. It is also sometimes sold under the trade name Black Labradorite, although Larvikite is a rock rather than a single mineral.
Larvikite is traditionally associated with grounding, protection, focus and inner strength.
