A wonderfully unusual natural Moroccan Menalite concretion, also commonly known as a Fairy Stone or Goddess Stone, weighing approximately 166g.
Menalite concretions form naturally within sediment and are renowned for their strange, smooth and often surprisingly sculptural shapes. No two specimens are ever quite alike.
This distinctive example has a compact rounded body topped by a large curved lobe, with several smaller natural projections around the base. Its unusual silhouette gives it an almost figurative appearance when viewed from certain angles.
The specimen is predominantly soft cream-white, with a prominent area of natural golden ochre staining across the upper formation.
