A striking natural Red Hematoid Quartz crystal cluster, featuring quartz crystals richly coloured by natural iron oxide and hematite staining.
This unusual little specimen has several prominent crystal formations alongside areas of fine sparkling druzy growth. Its colouring ranges from deep rusty red and reddish brown through to earthy orange, with small areas of clearer quartz visible beneath the iron-rich coating.
The natural matrix and heavy iron staining give the specimen a wonderfully earthy, rugged appearance, while the crystal surfaces produce plenty of sparkle under direct light.
