An unusual natural mineral specimen featuring small purple amethyst crystals scattered across a sparkling druzy crystal surface on a pale volcanic matrix.

The upper face is covered with countless tiny crystals, producing a beautiful sugary sparkle under the light, with several larger lilac to purple amethyst crystals standing proud of the surface. Warm earthy and rusty tones beneath the crystal layer provide an attractive contrast against the purple colouration.

The exposed sides and reverse reveal the natural pale host matrix, making this an interesting specimen both aesthetically and geologically.

A lovely compact collector's piece with plenty of detail to discover under close inspection.

Weight: approx. 43g

This is a completely natural mineral specimen and therefore includes natural fractures, cleavage, rough areas, inclusions and small imperfections associated with its formation. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description and show the exact specimen you will receive.
