A substantial 174g natural rough Angelite specimen, displaying the characteristic soft blue-grey colouring of this beautiful mineral.
The specimen has an exposed face revealing the solid blue interior, with attractive pale mottling and subtle crystalline sparkle. Much of the exterior retains its natural white weathered matrix/coating with earthy brown iron staining, creating a really interesting contrast between the rugged outer surface and blue mineral beneath.
An unusual chunky specimen with plenty of natural character, ideal for a crystal or mineral collection, display piece or for anyone who prefers stones in their less processed form.
Weight: Approx. 174g
Mineral: Angelite (Anhydrite)
Colour: Pale blue / blue-grey with white and earthy brown areas
Form: Natural rough specimen with exposed/cut surfaces
As a natural mineral specimen, cracks, pits, inclusions, colour variation and surface irregularities are normal and form part of its character.
