A striking natural Banded Jasper, also commonly described as Ribbon Jasper or Striped Jasper, featuring beautiful layers of warm mustard yellow, ochre, burnt orange and rusty red.
The specimen displays pronounced natural banding across its surfaces, together with a fine contrasting pale mineral vein running through the stone. Its earthy layers give the piece an almost miniature-landscape appearance.
Left completely rough and unpolished, this is an attractive specimen for a mineral collection, crystal display or lapidary collection.
