A small but fascinating natural mineral specimen featuring black tourmaline (schorl) crystals embedded within a pale quartz-rich matrix.
Several distinct black prismatic crystals are visible across the specimen, including exposed and protruding crystal sections displaying the characteristic longitudinal striations associated with tourmaline. Areas of warm yellow to orange iron staining provide additional contrast against the pale translucent matrix.
Despite its compact size, this is an interesting collector's specimen with plenty of natural mineral detail visible under close inspection.
