A striking natural Chalcopyrite and Quartz mineral specimen weighing approximately 171g, featuring extensive brassy-gold metallic mineralisation across a contrasting white quartz matrix.
The specimen has excellent visual interest from every angle, with abundant metallic chalcopyrite displaying gold, bronze and occasional naturally tarnished iridescent tones. Areas of blue-green mineralisation are also visible throughout the matrix and are likely associated secondary copper minerals.
One side features a particularly attractive area of white crystalline quartz surrounded by metallic sulphide mineralisation, while other surfaces are densely covered in sparkling brassy material.
