A beautiful natural Amethyst crystal cluster, weighing approximately 280g, featuring substantial purple crystal points over a contrasting pale quartz and chalcedony-rich matrix.
This individual specimen displays an impressive collection of deep violet to rich purple Amethyst crystals, with a mixture of larger chunky points and smaller crystalline formations growing together across the surface.
Many of the crystals show attractive natural variations in colour and translucency, ranging from darker saturated purple areas to softer lavender and almost clear quartz sections. Individual points catch the light beautifully, revealing internal veils, inclusions and natural growth features.
Beneath the Amethyst is a striking pale blue-grey and white quartz/chalcedony matrix, with subtle banded areas visible around the edges. The underside remains naturally rough and dark, creating a dramatic contrast with the crystalline upper surface.
Small areas of rusty red and brown natural mineralisation can also be seen amongst the crystals, adding further colour and geological interest to this wonderfully characterful specimen.
