This unusual rough specimen displays pale apple-green, cream and silvery-green colouring with a strongly crystalline texture. Numerous elongated and bladed mineral structures are visible throughout, with particularly attractive parallel striations across several surfaces.
Tremolite and actinolite are closely related amphibole minerals forming part of the same mineral series, ranging from pale tremolite-rich material through increasingly green iron-bearing actinolite.
