A charming polished Labradorite dog carving, weighing approximately 27g, with beautiful natural blue and golden labradorescence.

This individual carving has a soft grey-green feldspar base, scattered with darker mineral inclusions and cloudy natural patterning. As the piece is turned in the light, areas of vivid blue flash appear across the body and back, accompanied by warmer golden-yellow flashes around the lower side.

Carved into an adorable sitting dog shape, the piece features a rounded muzzle, floppy ears, small front paws and a softly curved body.

The changing flashes of colour give this little carving much more character than its muted appearance initially suggests, with different areas becoming visible depending on the viewing angle.
