A spectacular natural Sphalerite with Druzy Quartz sphere, weighing approximately 500g, filled with sparkling crystal cavities, unusual mineral formations and beautifully varied earthy colouring.
This substantial individual sphere features a mixture of creamy white, pale grey, caramel, tan and rusty brown tones, with numerous natural openings revealing sparkling druzy crystal growth beneath the polished outer surface.
Different areas of the sphere contain their own miniature crystal pockets, ranging from smaller openings to deeper cavern-like formations. Fine white and pale grey crystals coat many of the exposed surfaces, catching the light beautifully as the sphere is turned.
One particularly distinctive section features an unusual warm orange, honeycomb-like mineral formation, creating a striking contrast against the surrounding white druzy and darker brown matrix. Small areas of green-toned mineralisation can also be seen within some of the natural cavities, adding another layer of interest without detracting from the predominantly neutral and earthy colouring.
The combination of smooth polished sections and completely natural crystalline openings gives this sphere a wonderfully rugged, geological appearance. There is something different to discover from almost every angle.
