This natural volcanic glass displays very dark brown-black colouring with characteristic smooth, curved conchoidal fracture surfaces. When viewed from the correct angle under light, one fractured area reveals a beautiful small rainbow iridescent flash.
The specimen retains areas of rough natural outer material, contrasting beautifully with the glossy glass-like fractured surfaces.
