A natural Ruby Corundum crystal specimen, weighing approximately 18g.

This interesting raw specimen displays muted raspberry-red, mauve and purplish-red colouring with areas of pale natural matrix and surface mineralisation.

The crystal retains a distinctive chunky hexagonal corundum crystal habit, including relatively flat basal surfaces and visible natural growth features. It has been left completely raw and unpolished, making it an attractive small mineralogical specimen.
