A beautifully unusual polished Ruby in Kyanite egg featuring a softly mottled mixture of teal-blue, smoky blue-grey and muted green tones, scattered with natural pink, burgundy and purplish-red ruby inclusions.
Fine reflective mineral details shimmer gently across the surface, adding depth to the stone as it is turned beneath the light. One side reveals a particularly noticeable pink-purple area, while the remaining surface displays a wonderfully varied mixture of blue-green colour and earthy mineral markings.
Ruby in Kyanite is a naturally occurring combination in which ruby forms within a kyanite-rich matrix. The balance of colour varies considerably between specimens, making every piece completely individual.
Natural mineral inclusions, internal lines, colour variations and minor surface features may be present as part of the stone’s formation.
