A wonderfully unusual natural Moroccan Menalite concretion, also commonly known as a Fairy Stone or Goddess Stone, weighing approximately 180g.
Menalite concretions are known for developing extraordinary naturally sculptural forms, with no two specimens ever quite alike.
This particularly interesting example has a compact multi-lobed formation, made up of numerous rounded curves and overlapping sections. One side features a distinctive circular raised formation, adding another unusual detail to this wonderfully abstract specimen.
The surface is predominantly soft chalky white, with extensive natural golden ochre staining and scattered darker mineral markings.
