A striking Vincenza Collection handmade art glass handbag vase, featuring crisp black and white speckled decoration and beautifully twisted clear glass handles.
Standing approximately 21cm tall and weighing approximately 1.23kg, this substantial decorative piece has been formed in the shape of a handbag, with a softly rounded body, shaped opening and twin raised glass handles.
The body is densely filled with irregular pieces of opaque white glass, scattered throughout with contrasting deep black to very dark plum glass inclusions. The different sizes and shapes create a wonderfully organic spotted pattern, with areas of clear glass visible between the coloured decoration.
Two tall handles are formed from twisted clear glass, containing delicate fine lines of white and subtle plum-toned colour. Each handle is attached with sculptural clear glass flourishes, adding further texture and catching the light beautifully.
The original gold-coloured Vincenza Collection Handmade label remains attached to the front.
