The specimen displays strong earthy brick-red to orange-red colouring characteristic of iron-rich jasper, with areas of white and grey mineralisation filling natural fractures through the rock. Some surfaces show an attractive brecciated appearance, where angular sections of red jasper are separated by contrasting pale veins.
The piece is completely raw and unpolished, retaining its natural fractured surfaces and variations in colour and texture.
